The Lehigh Canal Park is run by one volunteer and operates on a budget of two thousand, five hundred dollars a year. If you live in Weissport, Mahoning, Franklin, Jim Thorpe, East Penn, Parryville or Lehighton, let your council know that you support increased funding for the Canal Park.
The Lehigh Canal Park is a component of the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, and is also a National Historic place.
